Default Coilover Help, Height Adjustment

hey guys...I jsut wanted to know is there any way to adjust ride height without disconnecting either the bottom or the top of the shock to allow it to rotate??

This is for the coilovers that adjust via the bottom perch without messing w/ the preload. Is the only way to adjust the height by removing the bottom bolt or top of the shock???

well i think i found a way...these coilovers adjust ride height by the lower perch...There are 3 purches..the top 2 are to adjust preload and the botom is to adjust ride height....

well..i think i found a way...if you loosen the bottom perch..then lossen the top 2 perches and by using the wrenches turn the top 2 perches in the same direction at the same time..this should move the entire shock body up and down

no NOOB!! dont lossen the two top perches if you dont wanna mess up the preload ... just lossen the bottom perch in the bottom mount ... the purpose of the small perch is to lock up the big perch that hold the spring when you turn it in the opposite direction

lol...damn man...but when u loosen the bottom mount you cant move the shock unless you remove the lower a-arm bolt from the shock to turn the shock to raise and lower the height

sorry for my noob questions..but i use to have tein RA and the only way to adjsut height was to mess with the preload with the top perches..lol

d2's?

If so you loosen the very bottom nut that locks the bottom portion. Then make sure the top 2 perchs are very securly tighten againest each other (top clock, bottom counter clock) Then to lower turn the top clockwise. To raise turn the bottom counter clock.
The above method you will notice that you are turing the perchs againest each other but that is it moving the threaded shock collar up or down the arm shock mount.

Not sure but I think Tein work the same way.
