Rustoleum Black Primer at Home Depot
Let me preface my question with the fact that I'm considering this for my track car, NOT a show car or daily driver.
Since this spray paint is "wet sandable", can I prep the car enough to use this as the actual exterior of the car? Would I need to "clear" it just to seal it or would I still need to paint it with an automotive grade paint and clear that?
I've read alot about doing the painting the "right way", but I'm wondering if this will suffice for a car that does most of it's showing off on the 1320. I just want to clean it up and change it to black from it's current teal.
If this is a complete crap idea, please explain why and don't just tell me that "it sucks".
Thanks!
Steve
