EX sway bar... Factory of Aftermarket?
I did a brake conversion from my EX Coupe to my DX Hatch this weekend. While under the EX i noticed that there is a factory front anti-sway bar... It's connected to the lower control arms. The hatches control arms dont have the holes to bolt it on. is there an aftermarket sway bar i can get or is it worth swapping this out?
I swapped it out with the ex arm. Its a pretty straight forward swap.
http://repo.jackmoves.com/album119 you can skip all of the power steering stuff in this walkthrough.

did the same on my 98 hatch. definatly worth it. there are aftermarket swaybars available, but they are the same diameter as the factory 22mm, if you have that one, just just use it along with the arms. use some ES endlinks and bushings if you can it helps. big difference in steering. i am also running a 22mm rear bar from progress. my hatch is a steering *****.
you dont have to drop the tranny, but youll have a tough time weaving the bar past the linkage and exhaust pipe unless you have the car lifted pretty well off the ground.
Well i'm planning on dropping a B18 in it in the future so if i cant get it this weekend, i'll put it on when i do the engine swap... But for sure i'll swap out the control arms... Thanks a lot.

thats not true, i did mine on 2 jackstands, all u gotta do is drop linkage half way and take 2 exhaust bolts out to seperate the a pipe and b pipe to make an opening for the bar to squeeze through. real easy.

I know thats what I did too if you looked at the walkthrough. he asked if you could do it without unhooking the linkage and everything.

haha...thats funny, i dont care how high the car is off the ground, theres no way in hell you're getting that bar between the linkage and exhaust without dropping it. its phisically not possible.
