Default front end

i'm starting to look into putting my bike together, but am checking out prices. My bike needs a whole new front end.

http://search.ebay.com/search/...earch

heres a link with a list of forks, which i was originally looking for, on ebay. the cheapest i saw was $299 with a $399 buy it now.

then i saw the complete 05 (radial brakes, inverted forks) front end for $589 as of yet, with 2 days left.

will i have to get new discs or anything, for the radial brakes?

and what should i be looking to pay around? front end = destroyed .. levers, brake resivoir, discs are warped i think, forks broken in half, handle bars bent into the gas tank, etc.. and all the plastics are gone.

i need transportation .. since my accident in June i havn't been able to drive anywhere, it sucks relying on people for everything

I wouldn't get to bothered about radial brakes, rebuild it as stock. I think the disc diameter remains the same with the radial set-up. You will need to check the bearings in the headstock for the switch, not sure if they are the same or not.

ya i know what you mean, i enoyed my setup how it was, stock, for the 03. But it would just be nice if i could buy a complete front end, weather it be 03-04 or 05.

this sucks, it's gonna be pretty damn expensive. i guess i'll have to roll around streetfighter for a while once i get my front end rebuilt. lol
