Pop the covers off the rear seat belts near your ceiling. Remove the bolt holding up each rear seat belt, and install your bar there. Believe they're 14mm bolts and should have some type of thread lock on them so they'll be a little pesky to loosen but not bad @ all.
As for the cutting and whatnot, couldnt help you there. Most of the ones I've seen they just leave the cover off.
