I heard texas has plenty of shops to choose from. I wouldnt take it to anyone not qualified in JDM swaps. Most local shops will do it but try searching the scene in these forums, I am sure many others like you in texas that needed help with recomending new shops. Start a thread asking for advice in good shops in town's/city's near you.

And learn a lot more about your car so if it breaks you can fix it yourself aswell.

Why are you buying an H22A Type-S, save yourself the money its not worth it, it has a little more HP, but makes less torque. Just get a JDM H22A W/LSD (M2B4) & ECU (P13) i got it all for $2150.00 USD, with the extra money, you could put some camshafts, cams, etc... and make a whole lot more power with the extra money you would spend just buying the type-s motor....just my opinion, but why spend more for less?

A chipped P28 would be better. More tuning options than the P13. I dont see much aftermarket support for P13 but thats prob because i havent been lookin hard enough. And cant you put Type S internals into the JDM H22A. And if i remember that boost the compression also. As for the swap its pretty much drop in. You just need to wire up the Vtec oil pressure sensor, Vtec solenoid, Knock Sensor and the IAB if yours came with a black box. http://www.hmotorsonline.com is a good place to purchase a motor. I have heard good satisfied people that order from them.

^ u want respect? stick a k20 in there, not a very easy install so if u run into anyone who actually knows what their talkin about, they'll respect it. u want actual power, go turbo. you'll get much better gains

My motor is JDM H22A W/LSD Trans P13 ECU (Get this one, its cheaper, and has everything you want, and you'll have more money for upgrades.

Use Accord Half shaft and use existing Accord Axles, and to save money you can use the accord driver side mount, i've been using it for one year and it works great, and basically the rest of the mounts are from the prelude motor as i recall.

if you have lots of money & time get a K20, if not get a B16 or B18 there is so much in the aftermarket world, and you can get them for a decent price. if you already have a 1.6L i'm not sure which one you might have, but the is the CTR (Civic Type-R B16) The GSR B18C1 (C1 i think) ITR(Integra Type-R B18C5) with the money you would spend trying to fit the k20 in your car buy a turbo, and you'll have some respect.

On another note, are you buying this car for other people to drive? because you have to drive it, and you should respect what you think is good.

And what do you want out of the car, do you wanna autocross, track race, street race, drag, all around daily driver, look at those things, then see what you want.
