Im just looking for a stock p13 ecu... wondering which ecu I should get for my 96 prelude vtec...I heard a roomer that the jdm ecu tops out at 112..I wanted to see if it was true or not...or which one is better?

 

I think i got to like 120 with mine - OBDI........but I heard the USDM ecus didn't have a speed limiter.....which is weird.

They'll both get the job done though.

 

JDM ECUs have a 180km/h limiter unless they're chipped, etc.

 

yes they do and it kinda scares the crap outta of you when you hit it and dont expect to.........

ive had my h22a1 up to 130mph on the freeway. dont worry tho no one else was around. id say it was about my max speed coulda squeezed a few more mph but 130 is good for me dunno about jdm speed limiters. get a usdm if you feel the need... the need for speed... haha...

 

why would you need to go 120 anyway, or anything above..90 for that matter
