ok I got an si tranny from a buddy of mine and I am curios as to which year it is from. There is one notch on the input shaft so I am pretty sure it is an 88-89 one right? so since I am putting this on a d16z6 I should keep my z6 flywheel and get an 88-89 clutch kit? will the pilot bearing in the clutch kit work in the z6 flywheel?

 

the clutches and pressure plates are the same just the throw out bearing is different. ive put a clucht for a z6 on a 90 tranny.

Yup, it's an 89 tranny...or at the very least, an 89 input shaft
