Well, my hatch was leaking a few months ago, so i replaced my tail light gaskets. It has really rained since then, but it rained last week and there was about a half inch of water in the spare tire well. It is coming from the left side. I have all the plastic out, and it looks like it was coming in from either that black plastic thing with a rubber flapper or the clear hose(sunroof drain?). I cant seem to pinpoint the leak, anyone else had this problem?

 

Ever been in an accident?

 

I dought it would come in the vent flap ("black plastic thing with a rubber flapper") as the rain/water would have to be coming in at a major angle. Have you checked the seal around the actual hatch? The rubber kept coming off up around the top/front of the hatch and would leak there (on my old gsr).

mine has leaked every once in a while for the past 3 years..... Aleph helped me try and locate it once... to no avail

LOL, i just figured it out!!! Well, there is the big tube coming from the sunroof, at the end, there is a Y fitting whick connects to the little hose coming off the antenna, that little antenna hose was off. Well, there it is, months of searching comes down to a st00pid lilk tube, thanks for the help guys!

 

Doh, that is what i was first thinking, but thought you had an ITR, hence, no sun roof.
