Default b16 Injector wont close. Searched.

I redid (redid, as in, it was working before, just wanted to make it cleaner)

and when I reinstalled the harness.

It wont crank? I turn the key to the on Postion, and no CEL light comes on? push the clutch in, and the CEL comes on? and wont turn off.

I try to start it, and theres some constant clicking, not like a Starter clicking, but like a Relay of some sort under the dash...

I check the Starter Relay. I check with my multimeter, and it is fine ( I have the helms PDF)

So! an Injector wont turn off, it keeps pumping in gas. so it floods till theres gas comming out of the intake manifold. I remove the POS battery terminal, and it stops. I remove the Spark plugs and theres only gas in cylinder 4. I pump all the gas out.

I check resistance on the injector. Injector 4 is 2.57 (helms says 1-2.5 is alright) is that injector toast?

CLIFFS:

B16 wont start, started before I cleaned up the wires,

INJECTOR wont stop firing. Resistance is 2.57( helms sayd 1-2.5 is alright)

CUT AND TAPE OFF THE OLD DPFI INJECTOR WIRES YOU REMOVED.
If you removed A3 and A7 and left them exposed, when they touch chassis, your injector will fire if the key is in the ON position. Your Relay is clicking because there's an electrical short stealing it's power, the injector MIGHT be the short.

NikoZai is correct.

If the injector wire from the ecu is has a short it will keep the injector open.

K, a little update.

I checked the wires, no grounding out. so I said well ****, ill just take clip from injector 4 and put it on injector 2. if its wiring it should leave the injector open.

Nope, it closes. so that lets me think the injector is dead.

SO im going to go to the junkyard and pull some injectors.

any injector from integras should work, correct???

Even MORE info.

Well I go get my starter tested, At autozone, tested fine.

so I disconnect everything except the 2 ECU plugs ( square, round barrel plug inside the engine bay.

Everything, as in all injectors, All sensors on back of engine, EVERYTHING.

only thing left atached is the Starter connections.

Apprently, im not getting a good ground.

I connect a wire\cable from the starter to the chassie to ground the entire houseing.

It cranks!!! it cranks like crazy woha ( spark plugs are taken out )

I let it crank for not even 5 secs.

I stop, and it wont start.

Im guessing its a weak battery.

I get jumper cables and jump it with my moms minivan.

It cranks and cranks, I stop, I try agian, and it just clicks.

The battery isnt even 3 months old.
