changed map sensor, but code is still there.....what now??
i replaced the map sensor (92 gs integra) with an extra one i had(not sure from what car) the #'s on both sensors were almost the exact same...... so i put the new sensor on (but i havent even started the car yet) i checked for codes(jumper wire) and code 3 is still there
should the code just go away?(since i changed the sensor) or do i have to unplug the batt. to clear the code??

not 100% sure, but when i get check engine lights and i fix the problem, i usually reset the ecu and it never comes back

With any code after power is turned off the light will not come on unless the problem comes back again. The code however is "set" in the ECU, you must remove the back-up power in order to clear the code.
You can check your you map sensor by applying vacuum and checking the voltage. Haynes repair manuals have the spec's.
