I recently removed my cat and had my resonator removed from my 96 gsr. It is a dc sports exhaust, dc 4-2-1 header. The resinator was cracked where it was welded to the pipe so i had just a strait pipe welded in. My question: is any one running no cat and resinator with a 2.25" exhaust that doesent have that annoying cheap "tin can" exhaust note. The exhaust sounded nice and deep (before the resinator cracked) and before the cat was removed. Now it sounds like the baffles in the muffler are too weak and are vibrating at certain rpm's. Any muffler suggestions?
