Default Difference bewteen the map sensor being mounted firewall mounted or the throttle body?

i bought a b16a JDM model. the company i bought it from said they don't give the map sensor because it was located on the firewall. i'm looking for a map sensor but didn't know the difference bewteen the throttle body mounted or the firewall mounted. are the same? or are they different. some info on this would be really helpful. i found a guy selling a map sensor for a b16 jdm model but he told me it was mounted on the firewall. am i able to use this guys sensor of is it diffrent because my map sensor should be on the firewall? thanks in advance.

I was told to use the map sensor on the firewall but being my stubborn self, I used the map from the TB. Car has been running great ever since.

This is on a 92 hatch with a JDM B18C.

did you mount the sensor on the throttle body or the firewall? and did you have to hook up a vaccum line to make it work? some info would be great. thank.

i mounted mine on the tb, and yes you do need a small piece of vacuume tubing to connect it. the electrical connections are the same as long as the new sensor is obd1
