Default Bazooka 200 watt 8" powered sub

Does anyone have or has anyone heard the Bazooka 200 watt 8" powered sub? I want to keep things light in the car, and this looked like it might do the job. Could anyone give some feedback?

Thanks,
Jon

Do you have experience with the bazooka? Can you tell me what makes you have that opinion?

I'm not looking for throbbing/slumping base.... I'm just after some more punch than the stock setup. It needs to hit a lit more. Will the bazooka accomplish this?

The only other route i was considering was an 8" JL w3 with a custom enclosure and amp... but I was thinking that might be a lot heavier? Would there be a tremendous difference in sound?

Yes it would be, [the JL] somewhat better bass, and a lot heavier, if all you are doing is adding some "punch" to a stock setup, then go with Bazooka 94

I don't need an aftermarket headunit to hook the bazooka up to do I? I was planning on keeping it all stock except for a Dension Icelink for my iPod, and the powered sub. Would this work?
