Axle is popping Out!!!!
I have a B20vtec with a b16 transmission from a Civic Si. Anyways I put GSR axles in it (Brand New). Anyways so the passenger side one keeps popping out of the transmission. So it keeps leaving me stranded and letting me go nowhere. It just revs in place. So do you think that the axle clip is defective. It goes in stays a week and then pops out. It sucks so bad. Let me know what I should do. !!!!!!
Are you sure you inserted the axle all the way in?
SLAM that sucker in!
U cant reuse the clips.. Next time it pops it wrap a new clip in there and see if the same problem happens.

Did you mess things up when you installed the axle??
If not, take out the axle. Put hub and axle together. Slide axle in, and make sure it's correctly inserted into the tranny part. Place a piece or block of wood over the front side of the hub/rotor. Take a hammer and pound it in.
The space between the axle and tranny housing should measure around half a penny.
If it keeps popping out after that, you could try replacing the axle seal and making sure the axle seal gets fitted correctly.

Thanks a lot for the help. I will look into all that stuff but first I have a lifetime warranty on my axles so i will go get a new one tomarrow and just start over with a new axle. Thanks for the help!!!!
forgot to ask, but where are you buying your axles from?
It could be the wrong axle. I bought axles from the local shop before, like one of those places like Shucks or autozone. They gave me the wrong axle at first, and the diameter was too small. Check on that. The axle should not smoothly glide into the hole, you gotta jam that bitch in.
If not "GSR" axle, try "1999 Civic Si DOHC" axle. They mess up like that.
g'luck
