tire size question
i want to get 14" rims on a 91 crx, but i want to stay with a tire size of 195x50x? but do they make a 14" tire in that size?i tried to search for it but nuttin came up.does anyone know where to get this tire size in 14s so i can use 14" hx wheels.
smallest size they have for 14's at discounttire.com is 195/60/14. nothing lower than 60's. so im guessing they dont have/make anything in the 50's.
A 195/55/14 would be the same overall diameter as the 195/50/15. You can get the Dunlop 8000 in that size. We've got them at $76 each plus shipping. You can also use a 195/60/14 which would be about 1/2 inch taller than the size you have now.
well right now im useing 195x60x14s and when i make a sharpe turn it rubs like a bitch.i think ill just stay with the 50x15s.get anyone recomend a good tire at cheap price??

There are some excellent 195/50-15 tires in the $50-60 price range. The best is probably the Toyo T1-R, which is on sale for $60 at onlinetires.com. Other good choices, with prices from the Tire Rack, include the Fuzion ZRi ($53), Kumho Ecsta SPT ($58), and Yokohama AVS ES100 ($59).
