92 Prelude Si?
A friend of mine has a Old school 1992 Prelude Si automatic. My question is he recently blew his motor, and is looking for a cheap swap as opposed to a dealer bought motor. Will B-series engines fit? or are there better candidates for this swap? He isn't really looking for much of a performance gain if any, he just wants to get it back on the road.
Thanks,
J.S.

Have him get a used H23A1 engine, then engine he used to have, keep tranny, mounts, and all other parts like ECU. Cheap, and this will get him back on the road. He also could spend a little more an drop a H22A. That would be good...
eBay is a good idea, however riskey.
Look around your area for import engine shops, I have many around where I live, most even ship for free. I got my JDM B20A for $700. You might be able to find one for your friend that's a little more - JDM H23 of course...
