when you car get hydrolock. does only da block get messed up or do you have to replace the head too?

well this guy is sallin a gsr head pretty cheap 250 for a complete head.but he said the motor sucked up some water..so i was wondering would there be any damage to the head!

 

Could of possibly bent a valve.

When a motor hydrolocks, sometimes the head might get screwed, other times it'll be fine. I hydrolocked my previous motor B16, and the water went into #4 cylinder, all four valves were bent in my case and the piston had a few scratches. All you need to do is inspect the head.

anyway.. my old motor was hydroloced it just snapped a rod.. the head was fine. good luck buddy

why all you guy trippen about stolen parts .you probably brought some **** on honda-tech that are stolen.but the seller can say it not .you would never know.i dont know if this head is stolen. i just assume it was casue it was cheap! either it was stolen or something might be wrong cause he said the motor was hydrolock so that why i asked my question!!!can a head be damage if it was hydrolocked!

the head might be stolen! i dont know that i just know i got a good deal!!! save me some $ hate it or love it!

 

like i said b4, hope it fucked the head up and you blow your engine but it prolly was a great head after the piston slapped it. if you think it could possibly be stolen its called you DONT chance it cause how the hell would you feel if it was your head that was stolen, youd be PISSED. and for the love of god, LEARN ENGLISH!!!
