For Sale or For Trade: 1997 Civic DX Hatch, Alabama
Car: 1997 civic dx hatch
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

not parting out!
I am looking to sell or trade for basically anything as long as the cash amount is around 2500+.
I bought this car last November from a young guy up in northern VA. It's time I downgraded to something older so I can have some cash to buy a cheap suv and boat. Specs are as follows:
-'97 civic dx hatch w/ around 97k
-original d motor and 5 speed tranny (shifts clean)
-bronze rota slip's w/ 7-sided "tuner" lugs
-skunk2 adjustable springs
-2000 si front
-oem foglights
-si cluster
-b&m shift ****
-type-r shift boot
-grey gsr cloth seats (i believe they are from a '96)
-s2000 steering wheel
-alpine head unit w/ remote
-infinity speakers w/ tweeters
-responder viper 690vx alarm
-chrome dc sports lower tie bar
-fuel cut-off switch
-cf duckbill
that's it as far as mods goes.
pros:
-brand new brake pads
-oil changed w/ mobil1 synthetic about 500 miles ago
-great gas mileage
-lots of room, of course
-stock engine, perfect for your upcoming b or k swap
-smooth tranny
-all maintenance performed under a year ago
cons:
-the car is basically stripped in the back (right now i do have a fabricated piece of "test" mdf down for a floor)
-the paint is around a 6-7 out of 10. it does have its blemished for being an 8 year old car.
-slight bumper sag
- horrible exhaust rattle from the rear rebar being bent due to a fender bender the ******* who sold it to me never told me about. No frame damage sustained
-right fenderliner is missing and it has no spashguard
-the passenger side window crank is broken
-the driver side window is powered, but the seller was too cheap to get it done right the first time with a proper switch, so to crank it you connect two wires (pictures included)
-driver's door is misaligned (easy fix) and both door panels aren't fitting right (easy fix)
-alarm is disabled because I do not have a remote. Remote + programming shouldn't cost too much.
-passenger side headlight has dirt/dust from bulb being out during rain
Thats all I can think of as far as major stuff. All of the things listed should be relatively cheap to fix, and pictures of everything are here as you can see. It drives nice and gets great gas mileage. It's treated me well for the 10 months I've had it. The tires are in great condition with around 60 percent of tread left on them.
All-in-all, I'm trying to be an honest seller. I feel that what goes around comes around. My email is corso001@bama.ua.edu or I'll check pms here for any interest in the car. If you prefer phone 205-239-6619 is where to reach me 24 hours a day. It's my cell and my name is Anthony
I'm currently looking for $5500 o.b.o. or your car plus CASH
