my map sensor is bad(code 3) on my 92 gs..... so are all honda map sensors the same?? i have a box of sensors but i dont think there from tegs, so i wanna know if i can use a civic sensor????

 

heres the deal about map sensors...from personal experience ive found that 5th gen civics..2nd and 3rd gen tegs are all interchangable... i had a 94 rs teg body with a jdm b18 and a map from a junkyard 93 gs... i ran it n/a and i ran it with a 75 shot of n20..no probs had for year and half... i built a 92 dx 4 door civic..with a jdm b18 swap with a gsr trans and have the stock civic map sensor in it and it runs fine...also i have a 93 del sol with a 96' block but still obd 1 and it has a 99 integra map sensor...the key is to just make sure the sensor vacuum lines are routed the stock way the vehicle calls for..like in a civic it has a diverted line and a platic stop on the firewall..integras mount right to the intake...ive had a few hondas and acuras and never had one problem...also for what its worth a 92 integra ecm with also work with a jdm swap in a 3rd gen integra
