Default n/a header noise?

im using a jdm b swap in a 92 4 door... i never used a n/a header before on a b-series .. i put an obx stainless one on last night and is it normal to hear a ticking sound coming from the header area of the head and a tapping drumroll sound when hitting the gas while driving?

A ticking noise is a sign of a exhaust leak, your basicly hearing the exhaust pulse exit in the open. Check the gaskets and make sure they are all tight. Buying a header off of ebay I wouldn't be surprised if the flange that bolts up the head isn't warped.
