Default My Timeslip - b18a turbo

rt: .575
60' 1.937
330 5.438
1/8 8.282
MPH 86.89
1000 10.668
1/4 12.807
MPH 109.32

on 215/60/14 BFG drag radials (still pretty new) at 10.5 psi
this is on a bone stock b18a except head studs, gsr tranny, an internally gated t3/t04e 60 trim .60 cold .48 hot 14 psi, ssautochrome mani, 3in dp and exhaust, and 2.25 in ic piping, running on crome, no 2-step 94 octane 15 deg total timing. and im reving to about 7400 going trough the traps in 4th.

this in in a cx hatch with full interior, spare tire, power locks/windows, and some dynomat to kill the exhaust
i would like to get a little lower, but this at Quaker City which is a notoriously slow track. im gonna head to norwalk next month in hopes of dropping about 2 tenths and gain a mph or so

i have a gsr head im gonna stick on there, with a blox intake mani, and rebuild my pretty blown turbo (leaves a cloud of smoke everywhere i go) over the winter. i'd like to hit low 12's with that, but i feel my turbo may be a bit small for my goals. but damn do i like 14 psi at 3300 rpm

any suggestions, comments??? and i know my 60' sucks, im working on it

not bad times really considering your setup and minor problems.

nice time any big difference in 225 vs. 215 drag radials 1.9 60ft seems to be as good or better than people running the 225.

What rpm are you lauching at to achieve those 60' times? Your 60' doesn't suck... it's pretty good for streetable tires.

i was launching off the 2 step - 5500 rpm 8 psi of boost. was spinning a whole bunch, best i could get was a 2.001.
my 1.9's came dry revving to about 6k and slipping the clutch, still doing a controlled spin all thorugh first and hitting 2nd at about 5500 rpm, with a litte bit of spin.
i gave my old bfg's to my friend and he is consistently getting 1.9's with an occasional 1.8 with one tire looking like a slick and the other almost there
these seem to hook better with more wear, 1st time out 2.1' and a 2.0 here and there. next time 2.0's with them getting better, the last time out 2.0's and 1.9's.
and now with a shifted belt in my tire, called tire rack and they wont replace it, but offered me one at half price. im pretty pissed and will from now one, only purhcase tires from a local shop, that will replace an OBVIOUS manufacturer defect i bought the half off one, and wrote them a letter about how I feel about all this. I wont be buying off tire rack any more
