When i got my EG the hatch struts were removed and lying in the trunk. Should you be able to compress them by hand or no? Im just trying to figure out of mine are bad or not.

You wont really be able to knwo if there bad or not outside of the car. But you could tell when there completely totalled and shouldnt be used outside of the car because when you compress them they have no pressure whats so ever.


But yes you could compress normal ones by hand, its a little hard but you can. Use a wall or he ground to help you out.
