Dammit, whats wrong with my car?
I've got stuck a couple times...It cranks but just won't turn over..I thought the battery was going, but even with a jump it won't start..After an hour or so, it usually starts again, then it'll go a week without a problem..Last night though, it got stuck while i was visiting my parents, and this morning it still won't start..Same thing, the crank sounds healthy but it just won't ignite..The other strange thing is, when this happens, i still have all my power; radio, antenna, heat, everything except the windows..Power windows won't work at all..Luckily we were able to push my car into their garage because my window was stuck down and it was starting to rain...
It's going to Acura tomorrow..Unfortunately it will probably have to be towed there..Any ideas?? I really don't have time to figure it out but would love to get an idea before i bring it in....I still think its the battery..thanx

Same thing happened with an old Celica gt-s I used to have. I thought it was the computer or alternator, but it turned out to be the battery as well .. engine conked out when I operated the windows. Seems the alternator had to diverte too much juice to the battery to try to recharge it, which stalled the engine
Good luck
Good luck
Pull the plugs out and put them in the plug wires and set the plug body on some bear metal so it is grounded out. Have some one turn the car over and see if there is any spark. If not, then try replacing your cap and rotor (cheap) and its still not working pull out the helms and look at the trouble shooting for the distributer.
you can also pull the plug wire and stick a screw driver in the end... have someone crank the engine and see if there is spark from the screw driver to ground. Same thing as the sparkpulg trick but requires less tools
Good idea about checking the cap and rotor but I'm sticking with it being the igniter.

do you run a rich fuel mixture? could be hard to ignite.. or might have completely clogged the damn cat.. ever smell rotten egs when you driving?
Im guessing its the ignitor though... all hondas seem to eat ignitors..
and the autozone ignitors last about a week.. though they have a lifetime guaruntee.
