SPoon Ecu feed back on b18cR
just needed some help, im in the process of getting my b18cR engine in my ek
all internals have been done but im giving the spoon ecu for the set up. The question is would this ecu will alright for me to use until i have enough $$$ for a after market ECU?

to be honest, this ecu is just a little bit better than stock..
Friend A, Real deal Spoon B18C. yes its faster than stock, EG Hatch chasis full interior, Toyo R1R tyre, 0-60 5.8 sec. , track time improved 0.2 sec in avg over stock ecu ( 16 Laps). best time 0.4 sec faster.
Friend B, 2000 Stock B16B, ORC clutch, Advan AD07, 1999 EK hatch full interior, 0-60 7.8 Sec (might be the driver
), improved 0.3 sec per lap avg.
I dont know, i would have to leave it stock until a standalone ECU with a full tune.

my buddy bought a skunk2 ecu for his b18c......and it seems pretty wicked fast for the mods he has....maybe buy a skunk2...just another opinion....
