Let's just assume that in the future my engine goes in my 90 Teg 4 door. It's not a performance machine and hopefully never will be. No mods at all. What engine would be the best deal for a daily driven teg. Replace the B18 non-vtec, get a B20, or if there's any other options that don't cost much more. I didn't say I don't like performance I'm just not going to spend money on bolt-ons. So if there is anything that provides better performance than I'd consider it. Now hopefully nothing ever happens to this engine so I won't need to do anything but I want to be prepared just in case. Any advantages over one another? Cause I'm a little dissappointed in the few B18's I've been in. When cold there noisy this one seems to be ok on gas 30MPG on the highway but it doesn't like to rev very much.

 

Well i would say a b18c1 if u r not really into performance and u want a good engine.....i have one its a great motor...
