Sorry I also can't find anything, but I would think it's much the same as the KDC-CMP59FM although I also can't find anything about it, Kenwood is rebuilding there site, but I don't see anyplace for manuals even on the Canadian site.

What is it you need to know? 94

yeah i know there site is weird right now. Thing is we wired it up and then when we turn on the changer it interups the fm signal but there is no sound comming from the changer. Th fm mod. seems to work because it it stops the singal and the charger works because it read the disc. what could it be?

It has to be that the audio signal is not getting from the changer to the output of the FM mod, and that could be for a number of reasons, the very first thing I would check is that you are on the right FM station, the others all have to do with a break in the audio signal path, and that could be no output at the changer, a problem with the cord or the connections at the changer or the FM MOD, [if the the FM mod is a separet unit] or inside the changer itself, [if built in]. just because the FM sig. is "stopped" does not mean the FM mod is ok, and just because the the changer is reading the disk does not mean it is working, [properly].
you will have to check and see if there is an audio signal getting out of the changer and into the FM Mod unit to tell where the problem is, even though that sig. is weak if you connect headphones to it you can hear it, [just like any preamp output] I have an old set of headphones that I have terminated with a set of male RCAs, so I can plug them into the the preamp outputs of a HU to check them, I also have an adpt., [female RCAs to plug into them] with an old set of multimeter probes so I can follow, [check] for audio sig. when there is no RCAs to plug into, you can also use a multimeter, I just find the headphones a lot easier. 94

Thanks for the help. The thing ended up working. The way it was mounted was the reason. Now it seem to work but slowly. Hey at least it works and he can listen to music. Thanks again for the help!
