Default K20 Eg or 05 RSX type-s

Alright my ninjas like the topic says, I have a 95 hatchback and recently got a new job making some decent money. Just wondering some price ranges for the k20 swap and can it be driven daily. And the mainpoint k20 or 05 type-s?

$8,000+- to swap a K20. it can be daily driven.

the choice between the two is up to you, and you only.

everyday people come in here... "should a buy a b18c5 and turbo it?" "should I buy a s2000 and supercharge it" " should I swap a k20 in my civic?". Only to be never seen on honda-tech again...

If youre really serious about it use the search. Why does it matter what honda-tech thinks of your decision. Pick whatever makes you happy and whatever you can afford.

A K20eg would be a nice quick ride, but I love the way an RSX looks. I would probably go for an RSX so there wouldn't be any motor issues and for the sweet new JDM parts that are out for it.

Buy the Type-S, it comes with a warranty and everything on the car is brand new. When you wreck the car doing VTAKKKK then buy it back and use the engine in a hatch

I like this idea. your interest would also be lower than getting an unsecured loan if you could for a swap. only downfall: lack of any originality/bling points and not nearly as quick. but a resposible decision.
