Searched.......None of the topics talks about the exact way to do this!!!!!

As far as I understand, the 2 door exhaust need to be extended by 4" ???
But, which pipe do you extend? How do you extend? You cut something and weld the 4" piece in?

Considering that most of the CAT back systems have 3 pieces
1- Pipe with the resonator which is connected to the CAT
2- Mid pipe which is kind of curved
3- Last part with the muffler attached to one end

i bought a 2door catback exhaust for my 4door teg and i wasn't there when my dad took it to a muffler shop, but he told me that they extended the mid-pipe. sorry if i wasnt much help

 

more info, what year and model teg? if you do need to extend, its the b pipe. flange get cut off, extender gets weld on. new flange on extended piece.

 

I remember throwing on a Greddy SP exhaust made for an integra 4 door on my 2 door....shortened the tailpipe 4 inches.

The only differences between the 2 and 4 door models....the length of the tailpipe (corresponding models) and hanger locations.

 

Its for a 99 Integra GSR

 

Muffler shops can extend the tip...They just add in a 4 inch long standard piece of muffler piping. Not pretty IMO.
