Default LCD monitor question. (I.C.E. newb)

I want to put a monitor in my car but want to custumize it in the dash. I want to know if this is a decent monitor. Im on a budget and am looking to spend under $70 for the monitor if possible.

What my idea is to put the monitor in the dash console and wire a mini dvd player either behind the dash somewhere or under the seat. Then I'll wire the audio to my head unit and the video to the lcd display. Hypothetically It should work. If there's anyone that has any ideas about this feel free to educate me.

I wouldnt trust that moniter reason being there is no brand name. But if you like it then go for it because that price is low. It all up to you. If you want to do the audio through the speakers unless you have inputs on your hu then i would get a fm mod. oh and its Alot harder then said!

I do have inputs on my HU. what im thinking is that I take the output of the DVD and put the red and white audio to the HU input and the Yellow to the Monitor video input. Im sure it can get alot more complicated than that for many set ups but would this set up work the way Im describing it??

I like the black one and yes you can do it like you said because you have the inputs on your hu and all you need for the moniter to work is the video cable(yellow)

Even a home DVD can't b plugged directly into a "monitor", [a tv with a tuner yes. turn to ch 3 or 4 and away you go or if it has an AUX input] 94

the monitors shown looks like you can set the input channel. So I think it would be as simple as hooking up a dvd player to a tv type of thing.

I see no problem running the yellow rca to the monitor and red/white to the aux-in of the HU.

will this work with my setup. Instead of getting a regular home type of DVD player or a PS2? It would be perfect cus i can fit it right under the Display. not badly priced. so i was interested, maybe.
