if you want to do it right....do this....
http://www.hasport.com/M88_B16.htm http://www.hasport.com/EFB1.htm

and this... http://www.z10eng.com/index2.htm

you'll have plenty of room for a header up front and down below. you not only get better axle allignment but you gain alot of traction in the process
hope that helps

the hasport mounts will sit the back of the engine a little higher than other kits which is a small plus for ground clearance but you 'might' have issues with the engine rubbing the hood. the z-10 radius arm kit is a must for big headers. the stock front crossmember will have to be notched which will weaken it if you decide not to go the z-10 route. be aware that the z-10 kit makes a lot of noise because of the solid heim joints. it kinda worried me at first when i installed mine but i was later told that's just a characteristic of a solid joint. not only wil traction greatly increase but having a nice stiff front end is oh so nice!

thanks...forgot to mention that......might have to cut the supports out of the center of your stock hood or go with a different hood.

What kind of noise does the Z10 cross member make freud? Is it noticeable to other people while your driving?

Where the radius arms bolt on to the front crossmemer and the lower control arms they have a bearing of sorts which allow the arms to twist a small degree. When the ends physically can not twist any further you will hear several little clunkings. Most noticeable when stopping to a dead stop or accelerating from a dead stop. Passengers will notice it but I have never heard of anybody commenting on it from outside the car.
have you guys seen the new place racing front crossmember?
Looks like the same design as the Z10 one except it also has flanges for a front engine mount.
A lot of people say you don't need a front mount but I just pulled my engine this weekend to find that the rear mount was broken.

Z10 EF kit also comes with a front mount provision if you specify for it. They just came out with it about 1 month ago. I am an authorized dealer with Z10 if you need something.
