my built JDM ITR motor (out of sunshine)
yeah, my car got stolen. but they left the motor.
insurance finally gave me the go to buy my car back.. so i will do so.
so i'm slanging my motor
- 97 JDM ITR motor
- rebuilt 10,000 miles ago
- OS CTR pistons
- TODA B cams
- TODA valvesprings
- TODA camgears
- TODA header
- Portflow Ti retainers
- AEM CAI
- B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator and Guage
- Hondata S200 engine management
- p28 + obd2a -> obd1 conversion harness
- 9,000+ rpm capability (can be adjusted via hondata)
Trans:
- TODA clutch
- TODA flywheel
- TODA pressure plate
and uhh.. probably more i'm leaving out. basically this motor put down ~ 200 whp with my old exhaust + silencer..and untuned (corrected a/f though)
the cons about this motor:
- throwing code 10 (distributor is done for i think) and wont let me rev passed 4,000rpm
- thiefs took my car, but i doubt the motor got fucked with because they couldn't rev it pass 4,000rpm
pros:
- motor was never driven hard when uncalled for
- especially when the distributor took a **** and i couldn't rev pass 4,000rpm lol
- mobil1 5w30 trysynthetic used all the time with honda s2000 oil filter.
bigger pro:
ONLY $4,000 for complete set up.
why the cheap price? cause i dont need the money, i'm too lazy to fix the distributor, and i want to get rid of it quick so i can start another project
