00-03 and 04-05 rear bumpers direct replacements?
I was always under the impression that the rear bumpers were directly interchangeable....is this true or not? Reason I'm asking is because my car is in the shop right now getting fixed after being rear ended and I'm going to through insurance. The body shop says they can order the older rear bumper for my MY05 as long as no custom work is needed.
Well I was on hardtopguy.com and saw this "This bumper is a direct bolt on for your 00-03 car with the exception of 2 small brackets* needed to extend the rear lower attachment points. The bumper comes in primer ready for paint." Can someone help me out on this...I know alot of people have been switching their bumpers for the newer model/older model. Thanks in advance!

It bolts on. The lower attachment point they speak of is behind your license plate, under the tool kit recess.
