CRX Part Out! Ottawa, Ontario
Hey Guys, unfortunately...due to unforeseen circumstances I've decided that I need to move on and part out my baby. My school bills are getting too high and I don't think the car will last me another winter. I am first putting the engine swap up for sale, when I have a reasonable offer and a deposit the rest of the car will be available. You can PM me with interests in the parts but I may consider trying to sell the car complete if I can’t find a buyer for the motor.
Complete B16A OBD0 Swap:
B16A OBD0, Cable Tranny
Y1 LSD (Longer Tranny then S1, Limited Slip Differential)
Shift Linkage (Modified for CRX)
Axles (Rebuilt through NoLimits)
OEM Header/Downpipe
ECU
Yonaka Swap Engine Mounts (B-Series into EF)
All required Rad Hoses (Honda) and heater hoses
New Dizzy Cap/Rotor, Plugs, NGK Blue Wires, 2 Bosch O2’s
New clutch when swapped (15k ago)
Engine does not burn ANY oil. It runs like a top, and there are no issues whatsoever.
Problems – Weak 3rd Gear Syncro (Common on Y1 Tranny’s)
Broken speedo cable gear (plastic) inside the tranny
New carbon fibre syncro’s can be ordered though a company on Honda-Tech
New speedo cable gear can be ordered through transmission shops.
Because of the tranny problems I am throwing in my spare LS tranny. I bought it as a backup while I fixed the Y1.
I am looking for $1700 OBO. I have well over $2500 between the swap parts, initial delivery, and return trips to Montreal to return bad tranny’s and a faulty downpipe.
I can demo prior to sale, which is no problem. I can honestly say the motor runs amazing and does not burn ANY oil. Compression and leakdown tests were performed by B17GSR at the time of the swap (May) and everything was perfect at the time.
