s2k v.s. rxs type s + mods
just wants to know what u guys think, if the rxs could keep up with my s2k.. my buddy's friend have rxs with protech some kind **** for his ecu cams, headers, intake on it. all i have on my s2k is comptech intake. so guys tell me whats you guys think we are planiing to run sometimes this weekend....
I raced an RSX Type-S with all kinds of comptech goodies (except a supercharger)...with a guy that seemed to be able to drive fairly well...and walked it for about 4 car lengths to 100mph before shutting down. That was back when we first got it too...and i didnt really have much experience driving the s2000 well.
So yes...you can outrun him...unless he's got some incredible tuning and can drive the thing perfectly and you dont drive well.
I have however seen RSX's outrun S2000's when the s2000 driver was not shifting well...at the drag strip ive seen that happen quite a few times, with the S2000 driver running a 15sec. ET which to me is pathetic, when my wife cut a low 14sec. her first time EVER drag racing at a track.

A rsx type s can be faster, all it would really take is an intake, race header (the type that eliminates the cat), catback exhaust, and hondata (i'm not sure if it's the flash or kpro). My friend has these mods and runs high 13's... It takes a really good launch in the s2000 and quick shifts to break into the 13's.
Either way.. Good luck
