sorry sir but that would be turbo, not NA

top fuel is one of the few in japan that makes turbo kits for hondas. saw that same car at TAS and i could see very clearly there was a snail in there

 

if you look at the picture it clearly shows the intake piping, going into the stock plastic hose, and into intake manifold...not into the back on the engine where a turbo would be. Maybe Im blind? I dont know.

I see NA and Integra in there!

 

i think 238 ps is a NA car. Or else it will produce over 350ps. Especially for a company like top fuel. But i agree that top fuel mostly do turbo.

 

Top Fuel doesnt have a turbo kit for the dc5r yet the one on that page is NA

now that u mention it, i guess i saw the top fuel CTR not the DC5 oh well....

p.s. i saw one of their intakes up close and i thought it was a very poorly made piece....even was told by another guy who runs a shop in thailand that their intakes are made in taiwan!! i dont know how true that is but.....

 

Top Fuel ITR's are turbo! it has very small turbo....not much power.

well the article says it is NA.

 

yeah that type R in the photo and what the article is on is a NA type R. However Top Fuel does have a turbo for another type R they have. They just finished devlopment on it. I have some pictures of the turbo setup on it if you want to see it.
Baiscally they wanted to have a very powerful NA type R and a very very powerful turbo type R.

Ya but thats 238 on a Bosch dyno they tend to read hella high for out put my ride puts out 216.7 on a Dynometer and 256.2 on a Bosch .. Go figure
