Throttle Cable LUBRICATION????

Default Throttle Cable LUBRICATION????

yo guys, my throttle is very notchy it dosent feel like it just slids to the floor, like ill hit the gas the smallest amount and it will kind jerk because it goes down a bit instead of just easing into it

kinda hard to explain but it just dosent slide well, what can i do to fix that just lube the cable? how exactly do i do that

I have used a device called a "cable luber" for motorcycles
with some success..

It clamps on one end of the cable and you inject lubricant with a spray
can with the tube on it..It will pressurize the cable and blow lube
out the other end..

Another thing that can cause this is the throttle plate hanging up
within the throttle body..It can be cleaned with carburetor cleaner
and a small nylon bristle brush..

I had the same problem. A quick cleaning of the throttle plate/body fixed it.
