Default about to start upgrading my "monster" D15B7

im about to start adding mods to my 93 del sol with a stock D15b7 and have a couple questions before i start spending my cash. first off is the exhaust. its not a hot rod so i wanted to go with maybe a 2.5 inch piping and a Vibrant/ES oval muffler but dont want it to be loud. so is there like a resonator i could add in there or should the noise level be fine? i dont want it to be louder that the World Sport/SP2 exhausts. and im going with the PasswordJDM carbon fiber intake off their site. will this bolt up the the D15b7 throttle body with out and other modifications or problems? and also, i want my stock header still but want to "brighten" up the bay a little so can i sand it down with sand paper and then with a brilo pad plus the WD-40 to get that semi bronze look? or is that just for new headers. yea yea, alot of questions but i just want to make sure. TIA-

dont do 2.5 in exhaust on a stock d15b7, not only is it TOO damn loud, You will lose all of what little bottom end torque you have now. better would be 2-2.25: piping. I do agree with this guy up there...Turbo singlecams are the ****!!!!! I would know....lol

i'll be putting a 2" exhaust + catback piping + cat as soon as i'm done with the rear bushings and alignment

i already did one side of the rear trailing arm... pain in the ******* *** having to remove all that rubber and when some of the bolts wouldn't come out or get rounded... god i hate working on rusted parts...anyway

2.5" is too big for a N/A engine... i'm selling my 2.5" magnaflow muffler if you're still interested in going with that setup (look in my siggy for pics)
