ITR Retainers and B17 retainers the same???

are ITR Retainers and B17 retainers the same??? im looking to put ITR Valvesprings in and just wanted to know if i can use my stock retainers with the ITR valvesprings.

you can use the b17 pr3 retainers, but the type r's are better in terms of strength for higher rpm's...
