I'm soo tempted to get one and try it. Do they even make a turbo small enough that would work?

I think a turbo off a 89-93 sprint would be decent size for it, since it IS off a 3cyl... close enough

im not so sure that would work,i dont think it would push enough exhaust to spool
a turbo, its only a single cylinder to stroke less than 50cc.if you did somehow get it to work it would not last very long.

and plus i dont think they have an oil pump so you wouldnt be able to feed oil in the turbo and they have very high comp, try using some kind of blower like a small leaf blower just like some guy did on here a while ago an a car, 10 hp gain i think

Has anyone turbocharged a bike? Hahahahahaa, **** yea they have! The even made factory turbo bikes (Kawasaki maybe? Can't remember)

ChillFactory makes turbokits for Neons and Hayabusas, and there's plenty more out there.

You know what? I think you meant those little tiny pocketbikes, so sorry for that reply.

For fun check out how many turbos this guy has. I could live there.

I remember reading something about people turob'ing gokarts before, but instead of using a turbo they used some part off GM cars that was a pump. If I had to guess it might have been called an emissions pump?

Okay, I understand the context of this thread, but what's the point? Bragging rights? Geez just add some neon lights to it then... If it's speed you want, first ask yourself how fast you want to go. Those things are so tiny they're scary enough already...

true... if you want speed... get a REAL bike.

a stock 600 would be faster than a fully modded and turbo pocket bike.

So... how fast do you want to go on a bike 1/3 the size of your "real bike".

Why not put a turbo on the big one, how much more could it cost?

I don't need the "real bike" to be that much faster. 170hp is enough.

But you guys are missing the point. It's not about how fast I could make it or whatever. If a tiny turbo could be had cheap, I just thought it would be a fun little project to undertake. Wow...

probaly the same reason you put a h22 in a mini, or the same reason that guy put a 1000cc engine on a kart in you link on your website, or the same reason that guy put a turbine engine on a kart that you also provide a link to....

It was a fun project and Im sure it was a fun toy once completed.
