Fiberimages hood+full-race+stock radiator = ????
Does anyone have this set-up? I'm having problems with my hood and the apparent reason is b/c my radiator is hitting my hood. The only solution (other than an aftermarket radiator) I can think of is to cut a little of the support out from under the hood for the radiator cap to fit. Anyone else have any issues with this?
I have freind with a ZC hood on his Rex that has an Ek radiator and he had to cut out some of the hood for it to fit. If this is a stock radiator i dont see why it would be hitting if you have removed it a cupple of time it might not have been seated all the way. I take my radiator out alot so maybe it just isnt all the way in the mounts. I see no reason for it to be hitting though. You might be able to rig something up for were the radiator sits a little bit lower.

Yea, unfortunately I had to cut my hood. I'm not too happy about it. The full-race crossmember puts the stock radiator a little higher in the engine bay.

damn...that stinks. First the radius arm clearence, now the radiator. There's no way I'm cutting my hood, If my Koyo radiator has the same issues I'm gonna check out some other traction bars.
