ineed a little help. i have a 88 honda crx si with a d16a6 motor. i was wondering what are some other mods to produce more power for an inexpensive price i currently have done;

dc sport header 4-2-1
v-tec speed high flow cat
hks full exhaust
custom cold air intake
jun racing pr4 ecu
crower cam
port and polished head
aem tru power cam gear
eibach lowering springs
hipro upper and lower strut bars
17 inch rims and yokahama tires
short shifter
polished valve cover

if anyone has any knowledge on the mini me swap such as how to wire a vtec solenoid or rpm switch into my ecu and any other information thanks

 

I myself would homemade turbo the car. I am pretty sure you produce alot of power with you sohc. If you want to take a look at what a hometurbo set up runs and what it can do for you go to homemadeturbo.com. As for wiring a Vtec switch i know you can get something from msd and rig one up for your car if you were planning a mini me set up. Have fun with the D series i know i am . I run 8lbs on my Dohc zc with no problems and she hangs side by side with not to heavily modifeid b16's. Plus i have seen some pretty fast single cams that are turbo that run good times at the track. This in my personal opinion would be my choice of a power adder on your car i spent less than 500 total for my homemade turbo if you have the patience and can find the deals i would do the same.
