is external adjustabilty really necessary on shocks?
Well, think of it this way. If you have external adjustability, you can adjust the stiffness of the shocks differently for various purposes.
For example, if you live near pothole kingdom, you would want it as soft as possible. And once you leave pothole kingdom and go auto-x or something, you can switch to a stiffer setting real fast and easy.
It's not absolutely necessary but it's definitely a plus. You have the power to decide how much of a stiffness/performance you want...I think that's very helpful.

im deciding b/t koni red and yellow shocks. im just wondering if i should spend the extra money for the yellows just for external adjustablity.
