A guy at my work let me have a set of fog lights because the wires were ripped out. I believe they are OEM EG civic fogs, so i took them home and took them apart, and fixed them. i tested them and they work. now heres my question.

All i have is the actual fog lights. none of the mounting hardware, brackets, nothing, and im not sure what all i need to mount these on my 4 door. Is there a kit i can buy, that includes the OEM fog light button? and im pretty sure all i need to do is run these to one of my optional fuses to power them, correct? no fancy wiring is required? i do however want the stock look of a oem fog button.

what car did the oem fog lights come off of?


the mounts are molded in the bumper.
it should be ont he lower side of the bumper where the vent looking things are at.
you have to cut those out.

 

I think you can find the harness your looking for from http://www.passwordjdm.com I believe they have it cause ive been looking to buying some. You could also try http://www.jdmshit.com and see if they might have it also. not sure but just trying to help.

 

what year is your civic? if its a 99-00 it will have the mounts but the 92-95 4 doors dont have premade "vents"

 

i see from ur sig its a 95....so they dont have oem foglight mounts

 

if theres no oem fog light mounts behind the vents on your bumper then you gotta try and find a custom way of mounting them and besides needing the button youll also need a relay

when you pull your bumper off, you should have 4 holes, where the screws will go
