I just got my first car about 2 months ago ( 93 accord ex) I wasn't really intrested in tunning untill I got a car of my own. So I have about 2 months worth of car knowledge >.< . I am learnin as much as I can though. My questions are, how much would it cost to get an h22 engine swap proffesionaly done. Would it be a better swap in a 93 or a 96-97. Aaaaaaaand would how difficult would it be to swap the engines in a couple months with only 8-9 months of car knowledge?
Thanks for the help
Thanks for the help
professionally your looking adounr $4k...give or take ALOT
since your car is a 93, it would be easiest (and cheapest) to get an H22a1 from a 92-95 prelude (96 was the OBDII changover, so im assuming that 96 model prelude used an OBDII h22)....
as for the swap youself, it shouldnt take a couple months -its more about having the right tools and resources to help you overcome any issues you might have...you'll need at least one other guy to help you, and its best if he knows what the hell he's doing
