Can I remove this black box?
I took out that entire chunk of **** (the stuff in ur passenger side fender) and I did also remove #37 and i chopped the bottom of my intake box so the stock intake is like a short ram.
All i had to do was plug the vacume nippes on the IM and i was fine.

You got it.
I wouldn't take that stuff out if you didn't have an aftermarket intake or modified OEM intake, though.

Well I bought the car with an intake already installed, and I was looking to clean up the engine bay.
Thanks
I will be doing this tonight.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know what #25 is on that diagram? From the looks of it, it would collect oil being circulated in from the cylinder head. But wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of that system?

I think that is a sound resonator to reduce the intake air noise.
