I've got a post in the prelude forum but haven't gotten a response yet and I need my car back on the road today. The same seal is used in the accord for the front balance shaft, if someone here has installed one how far in did you press the seal, when I was pressing the new seal in it slid past the edge of the housing maybe an 8th of an inch until it stopped. Is this correct or is it supposed to fit flush with the housing?

slightly deeper than flush,, so 1/8 inch in is fine ,,
