I have a 98 Spec R and was wanting to put an LS crank or a B20 crank for a good stroke. Im putting Toda Spec C's and full port and polished head, 82mm pistons 12.0:1 compression, TWM individual throttle bodies. I was wondering if the LS or B20 crank would help with some horsepower and torque since it has a longer stroke??? Any help on this would be appreciated...

You would have to use the LS Rods aswell and their r/s doesnt like 9 at all even if you used ARP rod bolts it would be a stretch, literally, so you have to make a decision power down low or power up high? Personally Id choose the latter since your setup would compliment the revs very well.

With a larger stroke, you don't want to rev that high, unless your motor was FULLY built and is making power that high. Your piston speed would be really fast and will wear out easier, also more chances of cracking a sleeve (if stock). The trade of with more longer stroke is lowend torque for high revving peak hp.
