weird coil over height
Yester day when i was doing my brakes in the rear i noticed that the rear springs were raised to differnt heights yet the ride hight in the back was the same. They were on the car when i bought it they are ground control coil overs with tokiko 5 way shocks on a 89 crx si. When i bought the car the front was slamed all the way but the back was fine so i just raised the front equally from the spring perch to the bottom of the coil over and they were at equal heights when i set it back down, so this i kinda weired to see it like that in the rear.
my freeind had those sprinds on his eg and the front did the same thing like the left side was all the way slammed just to have the same hight as the right wich was like an inch away from beeing all the way down then his rear was opposite i think its just the springs
Does any body else know anything that could help me, i need to raise my car up a bit and if i do them epually in the front like i did the back then ill be really off.
normal. the problem is your chassis, it leans, same with every car after years of use with moslty 1 driver at a time. so each side needs to be raised a different height to get all sides matching on the outside.
i would expect the perch positions to not be equal.

Well should i be worried, cause i plan on puting on regular lowering spring. If i were to do this then wouldnt be all shitty looking.

pretty much every car is shitty looking then. they all do it. even unmodified stock cars. you just dont notice it as much because the gap is so big. when you lower it, the difference between 1" and 2" of wheel gap is much more noticable than 3" and 4".
