is the timing belt cover off a 91 teg ls with a obd0 ls swap the same as a jdm obd0 b16 swap the same or can i use one from all b series motors

 

Not all timing belt covers are the same. For instance, the LS timing belt covers are meant for a taller block and shorter head (vs B16A timing belt covers). In other words, LS timing belt covers will not work on a B16A.

what would be the ideal timing belt cover considering you are running an ls/vtec settup?

 

And the OBD2 covers have the place for the crank fluctuation sensor.

 

so i can only use a b16 timing belt cover for my jdm obd0 b16 are all the b16 ones the same or do i have to get one from a jdm b16 swap
